As the recipient of Crane Hot Line’s 2015 Top Professional Trainer Award, Crane Tech is honored to share the opportunity for new operators to receive training through an educational scholarship for our Professional Operator Development Course. The three-week program teaches mobile crane operation with seat-time while preparing new operators to take their NCCCO certification exams.

Scholarship Requirements:
- Submit a 500 word essay on “why you would like to be a crane operator.”
- Enroll and attend Crane Tech’s Professional Operator Development Course (payment required), either the Oct 31- Nov 18 or Nov 28-Dec 16 class.
- Score 90% or higher on Crane Tech’s Mobile Crane Operator and Qualified Rigging Level 1 written exams (during first week).
- Conduct oneself in an appropriate professional manner during classes, hands-on exercises, exams and in all communications.
- Maintain attendance and timeliness during program.
- Pass NCCCO written and practical exams on first attempt.
Fine Print:
- Individuals seeking the scholarship agree to Crane Tech use of their photos, videos, essay, quotes, etc. in Crane Tech’s marketing efforts.
- Registration must be paid in full prior to start of course. Regular fees are $3,995, however once the $500 discount is applied courses will be $3,495. Room and board are not included.
- Scholarship recipients will be selected by Crane Tech within 30 days of completion of the Professional Operator Development course, based on meeting the criteria above.
- Crane Tech will award a total of $2,000 in scholarships through Crane Hotline’s Top Trainer award to students from their Oct 31- Nov 18 and Nov 28-Dec 16 Professional Operator Development courses.
- Crane Tech reserves the right to select between one to four recipients. Currently this will be broken down into four, $500 increments; however Crane Tech reserves the right to change this limit by decreasing the number of total recipients and increasing the incremental dollar value.
- Scholarships will be paid in the form of a reimbursement from Crane Hotline to the student directly.
