Qualified Rigger Level 1 Train-the-Trainer

This program meets OSHA §1926 Subpart CC, General Industry OSHA §1910, and other required qualifications for training.

As of November 2010 all “Signal Persons” and “Riggers” must be qualified in accordance with OSHA §1926 Subpart CC.

Rigger qualifications are required as noted in OSHA §1926.1404(r)(1) and §1926.1425(c)(3).

Crane Tech has scheduled numerous back to back Qualified Rigger Level 1 and Qualified Signal Person programs to help industry comply with this regulation.

A qualified rigger is needed during assembly/disassembly of cranes, when employees are engaged in hooking, unhooking, or guiding the load, or in the initial connection of a load to a component or structure and are within the fall zone. A qualified rigger is defined as a qualified person who, by possession of a recognized degree, certificate or professional standing, or who by extensive knowledge, training and experience, successfully demonstrated the ability to solve/resolve problems relating to rigging. CCO certified riggers meet this requirement [1926.1404; 1926.1425].

This course brings all of the rigging concerns into focus for a practical, field proven method of ensuring rigging safety.
